Everything Else

Life has been crazy at our house, like normal. We have had very busy weeks and am hoping it will slow down soon. Softball has continued and I have been playing for the past 3 weeks. I know it's not the smartest of decisions, but oh well! Brax has been very busy this month. He continues on with baseball. He has improved a lot and even catches the ball now. He struggled the last game with hitting, he was way ahead of the ball. I'm sure he'll do better this week. This month he has also had is 1st grade program and a field trip to the Sand Hollow Aquatic Center. Branden went with me to the program and I helped at the field trip. I was able to get back in the water for this first time since the softball incident. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the kids and some of the other parents that went. Wednesday is his last day of school and I can't believe it. It has flown by. I really loved his teacher and hope he gets a great one for next year.

Weight loss has continued. I am now down 29.6 lbs as of this morning. Branden is down about 24. I did go buy some new clothes and took my other shirts in about 3 inches. I also took in my swim suit and hope it will work for this season. I keep telling Branden to go get some new clothes, but he tells me a belt works. He looks great! I hope that we can both continue and reach our goals as quickly as possible.

Our weekends have been just as crazy this month. We started the month out with a baptism and my cousin's, Heidi, wedding in Mesquite. My mom and two nieces came down and we had a lot of fun shopping and hanging out. The following weekend, Branden's brother moved from St. George to Pocatello, Idaho. We really miss them. His parents, brother, and our sister-in-law all came down to help. We were all very sore the next day, but glad we could spend time with the family. Brax went swimming since it was the last time he could get in their pool. This past weekend Branden and I went to the temple since it is Braxten's last Friday in school. After that we tried to get a few things done that we needed to. Branden then helped a family move out and we went to Pirate's of the Carribean 3-D because I got free tickets. Saturday Branden went with the youth to do Baptisms for the Dead and I got to be in charge of a baptism in the ward. Saturday was a very spiritual day for me and one I think everyone should have the opportunity to take part in at one time or another. Not much else going on, just trying to take a breath for a few days until school gets out.
