New to Blogging

I have always enjoyed reading people's blogs because it gives me a chance to see what they're doing and get to know them better. I'm trying to learn how to do the same thing for others. We recently moved away from family and so I'm trying to get a way so everyone can see what's going on with us and stay updated.
